Dalmata Daniel continues its emerging digital series with DD002 - Exterminador EP from new rising star of the Budapest electro-techno scene, CT Kidobó. CT stands for Corvin Tető, a notorious club in the '90s and 2000s scene, at the dirtiest traffic junction in the centre of Budapest. Kidobó meaning bouncer, he is probably the fittest member of the Dalmata family, and his mixes as a DJ are keeping the crowd grooving all night long – playing at venues like, Ill Panorama, Toldi, Lärm and Koloradó Fesztivál or even forest RAVEs.

His very first release as a producer making a debut on the Dalmata Daniel label, CT Kidobó started making beats since he heard Mr. Oizo’s Flat Beat, his sound is difficult to describe, mixing lots of influences and moving between genres from idm, electro, house, techno, acid. All 4 songs use many layers, samples and mesmeric rhythms; you discover something new with every listen. Building up from old analogue electro sounds, the whole EP’s essence is a reserved, “elegant” sound design, every sound is well thought-through, and designed until the very last detail, creating a fusion between genres, and a future electro/house soundscape – something new for the Dalmata Daniel label.

The title track, El Ángel Exterminador is probably best described as future electro, with broken, pulsing beats, female vocals and a dark atmosphere; it crawls under your skin.

For the electro-disco djs out there, you get a more club-oriented version of the title track, a real dancefloor banger, which is a great rework of the original.

Gin Sling is the one to take you on a joy ride with their slow techno remix, with crazy echoes and soundscapes, while La Collectionneuse’s atmosphere covers the whole EP with the same piercing force and keeps you on the dancefloor all night long, with an ever-refilling gin-tonic in your hands.

DD002 comes with a Studio Jetski designed multifunctional bandana in the pre-order period only, which is the physical part of this EP.
